Creator

A Mexican-American artist hailing from the Land of Angels, David Gremard Romero (a.k.a. "Chicome Itzcuintli Amatlapalli" in his native Nahua tongue) lives in Mexico City now. Straddling an interracial background (White American and Wixarica Indigenous) and Mexicayotl (a traditional native faith), Romero creates pieces which tell his ancestors' stories--re-imagining their spiritual ideas with a contemporary twist. His art is part of a de-colonization process, inspiring to reawaken ancient, forgotten wisdom.
