Hearts and Hands Tarot was created by artist Liz Blackbird over the course of 10 Years. A true Labor of Love, the project was initially undertaken with the intention of finding a new artistic direction and rebirth. The black and white hand drawn illustrations are reminiscent the 60's and 70's psychedelic Art Nouveau revival style giving the cards a nostalgic hippy vibe. The deck is thoroughly in step with today’s ideals of inclusivity and balanced gender identity. In the court cards the Knight and Page are replaced with a Prince and Princess to create gender equality. The numbered cards focus on the figures hands to avoid any specific gender identity. The Heart and Hands Tarot is a comforting easy-going deck that invites us to explore questions and answers without boundaries.
